Help with Storm's Vets Bill
Donation protected
Some of you will have seen Storm, the beautiful grey cat that is the self-appointed therapy cat that has taken to gracing Oaktree Surgery and Liskeard Community Hospital with his presence since he moved into Charter Walk with him Mummy, Daddy, 2 boys and 2 other cats a couple of years ago. We've seen many social media posts where people have taken his photo and appreciated his friendliness.
Well, you may be aware that he was hit by a car on Monday (probably in the hospital car park) after which he managed to get himself into the Hospital Reception where the team gave him love and care. He was taken to Luxstowe Vets and it was necessary to amputate one of his back legs due to the extent of the injury. He's been at the vets all week and, today, he's gone home to his family where he'll need lots of love, medication and care for a few weeks.
Since the news has been posted to Facebook about his accident people have expressed a wish to try to help towards the vets bill which would be amazing. He is obviously loved by a lot of people who find his company comforting. Nothing is expected, but anything is appreciated.
