Help With Surgery Costs for Winnie
Donation protected
First and foremost, we want to state that we know that not everyone is able to help, but if you can share this link with friends, acquaintances, or anyone you know, that will mean the world to us and Winnie.
Winnie is a truly exceptional rescue baby, that is suffering from a painful back injury and needs immediate correctional surgery that will help alleviate her pain and prevent further nerve damage.
While we initially thought that her injury would resolve itself with rest and treatment, we have been advised by our vet and other professionals that the only way for her to have a chance of getting back to normal is with a hemilaminectomy that will remove an intervertebral disk that is pinching a nerve in her spine which has caused lack of control in her hind legs.
As pet parents, we will do anything to help our fur baby but as you can imagine, surgery (and after costs) are incredibly expensive and like most cases, not something that we had planned for. Even with pet insurance, we will be facing a huge financial burden in the days, weeks, and months ahead. We are asking for your help, small or big, to help cover some of the costs for Winnie's upcoming surgery.
It is without a doubt that Winnie is one incredible pooches. Yes, she has some of the most incredible ears around, but it's her quirky personality, snuggability, and cuteness that wins the hearts of everyone she meets. Our love for Winnie is unsurmountable and witnessing the pain she is going through is a daily heartbreak we wouldn't wish on anyone. She's brought so much joy and love into our lives and we want nothing more to get her back to her spunky self and allow for her to continue bringing happiness to all.
It's never easy to ask for help and we understand that you might be facing your own challenges. Our genuine hope is that if donating is not possible, that you will share our ask with those you know so that we can feel a little sigh of relief in what's to come.
Even with a complicated surgery, piling vet bills, and heartache, we remain optimistic that Winnie will make a full recovery. Most importantly, she will be able to put this roadblock behind her and go back to enjoying the sweet doggo life.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share, and donate. We are beyond grateful to have such amazing people in ours and Winnie's lives.
Love,
Winnie, Ashley & Cullen
