Baby Zeke, is one year old, and had a fever of 102 ° this past Sunday the 18th of February. Suddenly he started having seizures and his parents called 911. He seized in the ambulance all the way to the hospital and the emergency room doctors could not get the seizures to stop. While trying to intubate him, his little heart went into cardiac arrest. They quickly flew him to Kansas City Children's Hospital. Where the doctors were trying to assess what was going on with poor baby Zeke.

Echocardiogram showed no damage to his heart at that time, and the first cat scan showed normal brain activities. Then he started having more seizures. They put him in a drug-induced coma to try to let his little body and brain rest but it didn't work. He kept having more and more seizures throughout the next 2 days. Tuesday the 20th the seizure subsided but the swelling on his little brain has just gotten worse.

Baby Zeke is still in critical condition and Kansas City Children's Hospital. We ask first and foremost that you pray for Zeke's body to respond to the medications and treatments and start to heal. Pray for the medical team that is tending to him and please pray for his parents and family as they go through one of the scariest things any parent could ever go through.

This is going to be a long recovery and lots of medical expenses. We ask that you pray about your donation and give generously to help this young family at this critical time.
