Help with the tragic accident of Elijah Perez

My best friend Michelle Perez's son Elijah was in a horrible dirt bike accident on 9/5/2021. He is only 13 years old, he is a good kid with a big heart and so much to look forward. He wasn't causing any trouble he was just being a teenager. Well now for a good while he will have to take it easy, and let recovery happen. Elijah was riding the dirt bike and did not see a car coming and instead of braking he accidently accelerated, lost control of the bike, and crashed into a house. He was rushed to Texas Children's hospital and we know he has a long road ahead.

His injuries include his femur and knee being broken, on one arm he broke his wrist, on his other arm he has multiple factures on the part of his hand and forearm, he also has multiple facial fractures, his jaw was also moved out of place, not just dislocated, but damaged out of place enough and will have to be rubber banded together. On top of all that now he has tested positive for Covid.

His mom and I have been friends for over 20 years and I know she will never ask anyone for help so I'll do it for her. She is a single mom of 3 and works her butt off for her kids. Elijah will be in the hospital for at least a week right now, but will require so much help even after he is released from the hospital. Which means Michelle will not work for that week at the very least. As a mother seeing her son like this is taking a toll on her, and also being worried about her other 2 children. Not only that but adding to the stress is the fact that bills have to get paid, medical expenses will start stacking up, the medications he will need will be plenty, and he will most likely need other medical supplies like a walker, wheelchair and many other things. I set up this page to see if people would help by donating any amount they can to help her through this tragic event and help take away some of the stress of this situation.
