PLEASE HELP REMOVE MY LUMP -MEOWS PRINCE THE CAT!

So Prince was a stray who ‘adopted’ a neighbour 2 doors down! Prince used to visit me on a regular basis, especially when the neighbour was at work, away etc. A while ago the neighbour had to move, he could not take Prince with him, as they wouldn’t allow pets at his new rental property. He said he would have to put him in a Cat Shelter, they are already overcrowded, so needless to say Prince ended up coming to stay with me permanently! However not long after, he developed quite a large Lump on his neck, I took him to a Vet.

They said the Lump was caused by possibly an ingrowing hair or sweat gland, they drained it and said it might return, (It has). Update: now looks like he was shot with a pellet gun. The Vet also said it would be better to Operate (if the Lump grows again, which it has). The Lump can be seen in my photos. (It looks unsightly, a bit freakish like a 3rd eye! Urg ---- photos I feel do not really demonstrate/show how gruesome it looks in real life but it protrudes outwards, it has a black dot in the middle, which is what makes it look freakish, like an eyeball! As shown in attached photos).

INITIALLY I was given a treatment price of around £950 (British Pounds) in total as am in the UK. Update: as of May 2024 the price has gone up AGAIN, to just over £1,000 (an Estimate). This basically covers the cost of removing the Lump, and also another test. Unfortunately they do not have a Payment Plan Instalment system, and unlike the US there is not the option for Donors to pay a Vet directly. (Although they will accept credit/debit card payment details in the name of a 3rd party).
