Help with viewing, funeral expenses

Hi, my name is Lily and I’m raising money to help out for my partners expenses, it will all be for his viewing/funeral. I met Kevin October 6th, in 2018 and ever since I have been beside him, little did I know how much of an impact we would make to each others life. Neither of us were in the right place when we met and still managed to grow as individuals and with our relationship as well. Summer 2020, we moved in together. We helped each other with things we thought we would never accomplish. We traveled, visited my hometown, he took me to see so many viewpoints day and night. I struggled with anxiety/depression since high school and he helped me distract myself from it to the point where it just came back since he passed. I got to know him in so many ways, he opened up to me about things that were hard for him to open up about. He helped so many of his friends when they needed help, I always witnessed him offering help without anyone having to ask for it. Whether it was financial or emotional support. He was always honest, a real friend to many people.

I was hesitant on having Kevin meet my family, for countless reasons, but when we moved in together he decided he wanted to meet them and he changed my family’s relationship right away. Prior to him meeting my family, my family never greeted each other with hugs or even a hello, we only hugged on New Years, after having a talk with Kevin, he inspired me to be grateful and start greeting my family with hugs. It took a big change in the way my family became more affectionate with one another, this might sound odd to some but to my family this meant so much and it was all because of him. If you knew Kevin, you would know how much of a great caring person he was.
