Help with Will's Stem Cell Transplant
Donation protected
Arguably Eau Claire's favorite ginger, the man who has gone above and beyond to help so many of us in our own time of trouble, Will Wall needs some assistance.
After battling lymphoma once in the fall of 2021, the cancer came back this past winter and Will had to battle it again. Chemotherapy has been successful and recent scans have been clean. But the doctors have one more path for Will to traverse, and this is the one that requires our help.
The medical staff at Mayo are requiring a stem cell transplant for Will. This requires almost a complete stop to normal life for a minimum of six weeks, possibly longer. For this procedure, Will must be no further than 15 minutes away from Rochester, MN, at anytime during this process which requires temporary housing. He must also have someone watching him 24/7 for the duration of his being there.
Insurance will cover procedural costs, but it will not cover temporary lodging for Will and his caretakers. It doesn't include food. It doesn't include gas for the caretakers to get to and from Rochester. A lot of hidden extra costs go into something like this. Lives are put on hold. And that is why he needs our help.
Please spare what you can. I know Will isn't one for charity, but sometimes even the mightiest of us all need help.
