Help Wolfchild recover funds for items stolen from the Van

Dear dreamers & howlers at the moon, 

Our band, Wolfchild, is currently on tour in the US northwest and two weeks ago proved to be one of our most tumultuous yet.

After a truly riveting and beautifully raw show at the Fremont Abbey in Seattle, our backup singer/tambourine extraordinaire (and all-around amazing artist and human), Alyson, came down with appendicitis and had to be rushed to the emergency room.  While our attention was focused on Aly’s surgery and successive recovery, we discovered that - on Sunday 6/16 - the van had been robbed… We were beyond heart broken to discover that many precious pieces of equipment, as well as some rare & vintage instruments, had been taken. These pieces, in particular, carried not just a hefty monetary value but also immense sentimental and emotional value and will likely never be seen again.

The good news — and perhaps the most important thing — is that everyone is alive and well and while Aly is in pain, she is recovering. We filed a police report, submitted an insurance claim, and reached out to local pawn shops but, sadly, our beloved vintage instruments, amps, and pedals have not been located — and the $2400 that was offered by the insurance company hardly holds a candle to the $7000 worth of equipment that was stolen from us.

We’ve been so fortunate on this tour to play music for beautiful humans and to have made meaningful connections with everyone along the way. And so, just as we’ve been letting people know and asking for help when we weren’t sure where we were going to sleep, we are letting you know now, with gratitude in our hearts, that we could use a little help here. We are reaching out to you -- our beloved friends and community -- to humbly ask for assistance with making up the difference between what was offered by the insurance company and the real cost of replacing what was taken from us.
