Help Wolfie get his infected eye removed

Hi, my name is Sarah, and this is my beloved pup, Wolfie.

Wolfie is a 10-year-old Husky who has been my companion since I rescued him from the Castaic Animal Shelter when he was 3. He’s not just a dog—he’s my soul pup. He’s been by my side through some of my darkest moments, including a mentally abusive relationship, and his unwavering love and loyalty have kept me going.

Recently, Wolfie developed a severe and ongoing eye infection, and despite my best efforts, his condition requires surgery to remove his eye. On top of that, the removed eye will need to be tested for cancer to ensure there are no underlying issues. The mounting veterinary bills are overwhelming, and I’ve already spent $1,100 on his care. I was quoted $229.70 for a blood panel and $1,611.56 for the surgery itself and everything post op.

I live paycheck to paycheck, and my financial resources have run out—my CareCredit is nearly maxed out with only $27 left. To cover his vet care, I’ve been using money that should be going toward my own bills, which has put me in an even more difficult situation. My main goal with this fundraiser is to raise enough to cover the cost of his eye removal surgery. Any extra funds will go toward paying back the CareCredit I used for his treatment so far. If we are lucky enough to be blessed with additional support, it will go toward getting Wolfie new toys and treats to help him recover comfortably.

Wolfie has terrible separation anxiety and depends on me as much as I depend on him. I can’t imagine giving him up simply because I can’t afford his treatment. I feel it’s my turn to return the love and support he’s given me by ensuring he gets the care he needs.
