Help Womble to Walk Again

Womble - our beautiful, adventurous Wheaten Terrier - jumped off a high wall in the back garden a couple of weeks ago and severed the cruciate ligament in her knee.

She can't use her back leg at all; she can't use the stairs and can't even walk more than a few paces.

She's in a lot of pain and has been stuck downstairs with nothing to do ever since; it's absolutely horrible to see her like this.

She's such an active little thing: always exploring and getting into mischief, and it's heartbreaking to see how confused and disappointed she is when our other dog is taken out for walks every day while she's left behind.

The operation she needs will cost £4,500 which we just can't afford (she doesn't have insurance for various reasons) and the other alternatives are either to let her keep suffering like this or have her put to sleep.

She's a healthy ten year old dog with years of adventures and silliness ahead of her, so to us it's unthinkable to end her precious life over something like this.

We don't consider Womble to be a pet, she really is an integral part of our family. We're all completely devastated that we might lose her to something as easily treatable as this injury, so please, please, please do whatever you can to help us raise enough for her operation.
