Help Woodlake Students' Families Cheer Them On

Hello,

We are the Woodlake Robotics Teams from Woodlake California. We are comprised of two amazing teams, an all 4th grade team and a 5th and 6th combo team. We compete in FIRST Robotics and our two teams were lucky enough to qualify to two different amazing championship events! Our 4th grade team will attend the WESTERN EDGE CHAMPIONSHIP in Long Beach California at the end of May. Our 5th/6th combo team will attend the WAFFLE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP near Boston Massachusetts.

Our amazing school district has generously funded our trip to both competitions, but 9, 10, and 11 year old students would really enjoy if their parents could come along and support us as well. We are holding several local fundraisers as a team to help our families attend these amazing opportunities with us, but we are looking beyond the reach of our community and asking the online community for any support. There are a total of 12 families we hope to bring along and though we do not expect to fund the entire trip for each family, ever little bit helps.

Our team puts in several hours after school and we have been practicing since September of 2023. This is a long commitment and we finally see the pay off coming around the corner. We want to compete and give it our all and having our families in the stands cheering us on would mean the world to us all!
