Help Wyatt Fight FIP
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Adaline Engen. My sisters 5 month old kitten, Wyatt was diagnosed with the wet form of FIP. FIP or feline infectious peritonitis is an aggressive virus that can rapidly take over a cats body and up until recently it was 100% fatal. There is a cure, but because it is not accessible in the U.S. it is very costly. Wyatt started by showing symptoms of uveitis in his right eye and a fluctuating fever that was no responsive to N-SAIDS. This quickly lead to discovering fluid that had built up in his chest. With the help of some amazing doctors they were able to extract the fluid via ultrasound and sent it off for testing. It was with that test that they were able to give him his diagnosis. He has his good and bad days and his parents are doing everything that they can to keep him comfortable (antibiotics, eye meds, sub-q fluids) but treatment needs to start quickly.
Wyatt means the world to Lilly and Eli and is loved by the other pets in their family as well as everyone who knows him. With the help of the FIP Warriors facebook page they are able to gain access to this treatment. As mentioned before it is very expensive due to the inability to obtain it in the US. I am making this campaign to support them in helping their baby boy. Any amount would be amazing and it would help greatly to support Wyatt in his fight against this horrible illness.
