Help Wyome Sadhana

Wyome Sadhana is a familiar face in the Berkshires. She grew up here and worked at Berkshire Country Day School and the Open Meadow Kindergarten. She has been a server at John Andrews restaurant for almost 6 years and is currently serving and bartending there 5 nights a week.

Wyome is a single mom and has been working since she was 18 years old to help support her family. Last week Wyome's father passed away, leaving her as the sole provider for her son, Milan, her mother and herself.

Her father had no savings and left a complicated financial situation. Therefore, during this difficult time, Wyome will not only be responsible for the family's monthly expenses but also the costs associated with her father's tragic passing.

I worked with Wyome at Berkshire Country Day School and was immediately impressed with her. When Dan and Iona Smith, the owners of John Andrews, reached out to me with this tragic news, we collectively decided, along with other community members, to do whatever we could to help this wonderful young woman.
