Help Xavier, the Hero K9, Recover

This is Xavier, he is a retired K9 from a police department in Florida. He served his community with honor, bravery and courage for more than 7 years. He is currently 9 years old and has been retired from his job for 2 years now. This past week, he fell ill and suffered an emergent condition called "Bloat". This is where the stomach flips in his belly and, without treatment, is 100% FATAL! Thankfully the signs and symptoms were recognized quickly and early, therefor he underwent emergency surgery to treat the Bloat symptom as well as remove his Spleen, which was found to have a pre-cancerous mass. Xavier is currently in recovery and the road to recovery is a long, uphill battle! The veterinarian bills have been a struggle, to say the least.
