Help Xay's Family Heal and Find Solace

Dear Community,

We come together today with heavy hearts to support the family of Xavier Landry (Xay), a remarkable 16-year-old whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence. Xay was an extraordinary son to his mother, Lonnisha Landry, and a devoted big brother to his three younger siblings, whom he cherished and spent countless hours with. His bond with his grandparents, Thomas and Marcella Lyons, who are pillars of our community, was equally profound.

In this time of immense sorrow, we are reaching out to you to help provide Xay's family with a chance to grieve and heal in a private and supportive setting. We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for a bonding vacation for Lonnisha, her children, and Xay's grandparents. This vacation will offer them a much-needed respite and the opportunity to come together, find solace, and begin the healing process away from the immediate reminders of their loss.
