Help Xiaoan Zhong (Shawn) come back

Hi, my name is Alejandro Escalona, and I’m raising funds for my friend and colleague Shawn to help cover the cost of his cancer treatment.

Shawn was first diagnosed with cancer in July 2023. After treatment in Bergen Hospital, he went into remission, but the cancer returned this year and has been progressing rapidly. Determined to fight, Shawn found a groundbreaking treatment in Shanghai city, China, with one of the highest survival rates worldwide. He traveled there immediately, supported by his family.

However, this life-saving treatment comes with significant financial strain. Shawn has no medical coverage in China, and his home country’s health system doesn’t cover this care, and unfortunately norway's health system neither. That’s why we’re rallying to help Shawn and his family.
