"Hi everyone, some of you might know me as “FantomasXXL” on X where I’m posting this. This is not an easy thing for me to do but, for the past few years I've been ill with some recurrent infections and a couple new ones. Been at the hospital way too many times, did so many CT scans, MRIs. It hasn't been easy either physically or mentally...
I haven't been able to work for the past few years besides a few attempts, I'm struggling to pay for my bills and medical expenses my health insurance won't cover. I've been anxious, I've been sad and I've been in pain. There are even lesions on my genitals from the amount of medications I've been taking.
Doctors think there could be something greater causing all this distress and pain but I'm not yet able to afford the genetic test (which alone costs £1000) to confirm this.
I'm not ready emotionally to go into many details about it all as my chest starts to feel tight even as I'm writing this to ask for help, I've always been a very independent person so asking for this isn't easy but it seems like it's the only way to make through. Your support to get through the would mean the world to me.
