Help Yaa Find Housing

My name is Yaa Boachie and I'm a low-income black non-binary femme student who is currently homeless. I fled an abusive household in hopes that college would be my way out. I was able to complete my first fall semester as a freshman at Virginia Commonwealth University but without the dorms, I do not have a permanent place to stay. I'm currently staying with a kind friend and working to support myself. I'm grateful for her kindness but it is not meant to be long term. These funds will be used to secure housing in Richmond and any expenses that should come along the way. I'm planning on finding housing as soon as possible so I can return for the spring semester in late January. This would mean the world to me to have a place to stay.
