Help Yara, Mohammed and their family
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Yasmin and I come to you today with a heartfelt plea on behalf of my dear friend, Yara Al-Araj, and her family. Yara's story is one of resilience, courage and hope in the face of unimaginable adversity.
Yara, a 22-year-old student at Al-Azhar University, had dreams as vast as the sky and ambitions that soared to great heights. But the cruel hand of war tore through her dreams, leaving nothing but devastation in its wake. Her home destroyed, her university reduced to rubble, Yara now finds herself displaced to Rafah, with shattered dreams and uncertain future.
Yara's family, consisting of six members—herself, her sisters Dima and Lama, her brother Muhammad, her mother Heba, and her father Yahya—have been displaced and dispossessed. But amidst the chaos, Yara clings to hope. She dreams of completing her studies, of providing her sisters with the education they've been denied, and of finding a safe haven for her family in Egypt.
However, the path to rebuilding their lives is fraught with financial obstacles. Yara has reached out to me, asking for help to cover the costs of coordination and living expenses. The total coordination costs for Yara and her family amount to $30,000, and an additional $10,000 is needed for living expenses in Egypt and to ensure that Yara and her sisters can continue their education.
Your support will make a world of difference to Yara and her family. With your generosity, we can help them rebuild their shattered dreams, piece by piece. Your contributions will provide them with the means to find safety, security, and stability in Egypt, and to continue their education, despite the odds stacked against them.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Yara and her family one step closer to a brighter future—a future where their dreams can take flight once more.
Together, let's stand with Yara and her family. Together, let's rebuild dreams.
Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your unwavering support.
Warm regards,
Yasmin
