Help Yesenia see again!!!
Donation protected
Hello my name is Roxana and I'm fundraising for my best friend in the whole world, Yesenia Aguilar. In February 2023 she was diagnosed with a rare condition called pseudotumor cerebri. 2-3 % of women are affected by this condition, thats how rare it is. It caused so much inflammation in her brain that it caused her to lose her sight.
She has since been hospitalized and had to have surgery to prevent any further fluid build up in her brain and prevent any permanent damage to her vision. We are hopeful that she will regain most if not her full eyesight, but we still don't know for sure or how long its going to take. She has a long recovery ahead of her, not to mention all the specialist visits, therapy and further tests she still has to do. This unexpected misfortune has caused a huge dent in finances and has ranked up medical expenses.
She lost her eyesight overnight and her plans to pursue her masters in Anthropology and travel the world have been put to an unexpected halt.
Her focus and energy are now on her healing journey and doing whatever it takes to regain her eyesight again.
If you've had the pleasure of ever meeting Yesenia you would know that she is smart, funny, and a strong independent woman. She is quick to offer her help in anyway she can, regardless of the situation and she would never ask for help in return. I know many of you reading this have been helped my this beautiful soul of a woman in some way or another which is why I am doing this Go Fund Me.
Yesenia needs our help guys. I am only one person, offering what I can from Texas. And God bless her amazing mother and sister that have been her support and advocates, and not to mention her family that has been bringing cooked meals and God knows the endless prayers that I know have helped her get to where she is now.
But, we all know the financial burden that can come with medical bills and life and everyday expenses that don't stop just because we are sick, hurt, or literally unable to physically work.
So, if you can find it in your heart and are able to please donate to help Yesenia on her journey to regain her vision back. Any help is so very much appreciated.
Also, if you decide to reach out to her, please remember that she is visually impaired and cannot read, so calls are welcomed.
Thank you in advance
