Help Yeshaya Dank open art space in Horsham, Vic, Aus

I would like the money to pay for rent so i can open an art studio for myself in Horsham.

I would like to use my art studio as a communal space to get people to gather and celebrate art, music, nature, good food, diversity, and thought provoking conversations about how we could improve our local community when we all come to together and use the power of unity, and community.

I would be putting on shows of my art, and also hosting group shows for other artists in my space at least once a month; once i get my space up and running.

I would also host music nights, open mics, and stand up comedy or improv if there is an interest; i am also open to trying out new ideas of other things i could host.

I want to collaborate with different businesses and creative people from Horsham, Victoria, and the surrounding areas, and revive the creative scene here!

My costs are approximately $550 a month for the space + other expenses.

I seek $5,000 if possible; since that would enable me to run my space for at least 6 months before i would need to earn an income, and it would give me the time to get everything fully set up, and for me to start making money from that space, and then i would start to use the money i earn; to fund the space myself, and other people using the space.

I want beauty to be accessible to everyone, and for there to be the understanding that beauty exists everywhere, all the time, you just need to search for it and you will be dearly rewarded!

I paint the uncharted territory, the places and things that I've never seen painted like this before or from this angle.

I try to put many hidden gems into one painting, just waiting for you to discover.

Showing how everything has beauty, it's just waiting to be discovered.

Same with my artworks; with time you will discover new and beautiful details on each painting, which were previously hidden in plain sight!

The artists who inspire my work include:

Edvard Munch, Vincent Van Gogh, and JR.

What is my creation process?

I start by cutting stencils, to ensure that the base shapes and textures are perfect. I then paint using watercolour; up to 50 layers of different colours, in different areas. Allowing some areas to dry fast and some to try slower, creating different textures and shades of colour.

I use thin canvasses intentionally, as i am trying to create beautiful getaways that when not being used, can just blend back into the background again. They don't stick out at you, yet they are still easily accessed at a moments notice, exactly when you need them.

My total creation time, can be up to 3 months per painting.

I grew up in Sydney, Australia. I'm currently based in Pimpinio, Victoria, Australia.

I am a self taught artist.

My art has only been exhibited in person once due to my ongoing chronic illness.

That was in 2019 at a group exhibition called: Do Your Thing To Make the World a Better Place

It was an exhibition to support creative expression and student scholarship funds at Rockland Center for the Arts and Blue Rock School.
