Help Yinolu Replace A Stolen Laptop
Donation protected
My name is Yinoluwa "Yinoluu" Olowofoyeku and I'm an architecture student, a music producer, photographer, writer, and gamer. All of these mean that my routine is very software-intensive and my laptop (a 2012 17in MacBook Pro) is a huge and extremely essential part of my everyday life. It is practically at the centre of everything I do. Or, at least, it was.
On the evening of Tuesday May 26th 2020, my laptop bag went missing. My laptop was in the bag, along with 2 backup Hard drives. This means the loss of over 6 years of acquired and created music, documents, files, architecture projects, schoolwork, photography portfolios, albums in production, novels in progress, a commissioned screenplay, current schoolwork for submission, and so so much more.
This loss has been devastating. And while I am only still processing the magnitude of the loss, I also have to find a way to pick myself back up and become productive again as deadlines loom (some contractual, some for school) and this is where I desperately need your help.
I need all the help possible to get a replacement laptop capable of handling the CPU and graphical stress imposed by things like architectural rendering and audio production. These specs come at quite a cost but at this point I cannot be picky and there is a wide range of options that could fulfil the role.
I would greatly appreciate any help you could possibly give. You would be saving my life as this might be my only option at this point. Thank you soo soo much.
