Help Yogi Run Again: Urgent Spine Surgery

This is my sweet girl, Yogi. I had rescued Yogi from a local shelter when she was around 1 year old. She's a strong, beautiful red heeler and my loyal running partner for a decade! Yogi is also a deeply emotional and compassionate pup who will give mandatory cuddles if anyone is crying!

I just took her out for our usual sprint/jog on Wednesday night. The next night, she was suddenly paralyzed from the waist down and couldn't understand why her back legs were limp.

Yogi was rushed to the emergency vet where we were told her condition was beyond their capabilities. We drove 2hrs to a neuro center for an MRI and subsequently urgent spine surgery with an 85% chance of recovery.

As a Respiratory Therapist, at a non profit level 1 trauma center, I've seen the importance of urgent quality treatment for all. Now, I'm determined to see my best friend, Yogi, walk and run again, even just one last time.
