Help Yola's Cafe Survive
Donation protected
Our family has been honored to build Yola’s Cafe into a gathering place for families to connect, students to study, and social networks to form. Yola’s has successfully weathered many storms, but the current lockdowns and orders have placed us in precarious waters, especially now that the weather has turned and outdoor dining is not available. We have fought and pivoted over the past nine months to keep our core staff employed and to provide the coffee and waffles you have come to love.
We’ve been creative in taking steps to keep this gem of a cafe operating:
*Curbside Pickup
*Delivery
*Outdoor Seating (with heaters)
*Family Meal Kits
*Applying for Government Aid
-Received PPP Loan
-Dane County Small Business- Granted
-"We're All In" Phase Two- Denied due to lack
of funding available
-"We're All In" Phase Three- Denied- did not
meet million dollar annual revenue
requirement
Like many small businesses and independent restaurants, we continue to strive to keep the Café operational and make ends meet during these unprecedented times. No one thought we would still be at 25% capacity 9 months later! As we look towards the upcoming winter months, our primary goals are simply to keep Yola’s Café open, maintain our service staff, and continue to provide a space where personal connections can still be made. Unfortunately, under the current restrictions, those goals may not be achievable.
We humbly come to you asking for your support… If you’re able to donate to this fund, please know that every dollar will go towards helping Yola’s Café survive. We always love seeing you in the cafe. We will continue to offer safe dine-in opportunities, curbside pickup, and gift cards.
Give a shout out to your favorite barista or share a Yola’s memory in the comments section.
We continue to be blessed by our many loyal customers who faithfully support us, we are so grateful for each of you!
