Help Yoori Overcome Cancer and Rebuild Her Dream

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly difficult time for my family friend, my unni 언니, Yoori.

As many of you might know, Yoori is not only my sister from another mother but also a dear family friend and an inspiration to all who know her. She’s one of the strongest, most resilient women I know—someone who’s faced challenges head-on throughout her life and has always come out stronger.

Yoori’s dream has always been to open her own store, and after years of hard work, determination, and sacrifice, she finally made that dream a reality. But life has presented her with an unexpected and difficult challenge—Yoori was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer, and she had to undergo surgery.

Unfortunately, this means she will need some time to recover, and while we had hoped to keep the store running, it is now temporarily closed as she focuses on her health.

The timing of all of this is heartbreaking. Yoori’s store was her passion, and she worked so hard to build it up from the ground. It’s a place that not only brings joy to the community but also represents the culmination of years of dreams and perseverance.

I’m creating this GoFundMe page to help raise funds to support her during her recovery and ensure that she has the financial stability she needs to focus on getting better. This is a trying time for her, and I want to do everything I can to ease the burden so she can return to what she loves—running her dream store and being the heart of our community once again.

Yoori is the definition of strength, and I have no doubt that she will fight through this. But she needs our help to get back on her feet, and any contribution—big or small—will make a huge difference.
