Help young artists bring joy to isolated elders!
Donation protected
Many of us have been feeling a little lonely these days, but perhaps no one more than elderly people whose health and safety may depend on them being isolated from their community. Middle school artists from M.S. 50 in Brooklyn and Simon Baruch Middle School in Manhattan want to use their passion and creativity to bring a little joy and support to elders in the LGBTQ community!
Young artists will draw, paint and collage uplifting creative designs. Your donation will help us print their art onto postcards. With the help of volunteers at SAGE, the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults, we will distribute the postcards to LGBTQ senior citizens. Our students will be so excited for this opportunity to brighten someone's day, and we believe they will learn the power art has to reach across boundaries and bring us together, even from afar.
