SAY NO TO GENOCIDE!!! HELP MUHAMMAD SAVE HIS FAMILY!!!

I am Muhammad Tariq. I'm a 20 years old student from Palestine. Please contribute to my GFM campaign to help my family make it to safety and escape an almost certain death at the hands of Israeli forces that are positioned to enter Rafah Refugee Safe Zone at any moment.

THERE IS NO SAFE PLACE LEFT IN RAFAH. EVACUATION IS THE ONLY OPTION TO SURVIVE.

Please help me save my family.

I am currently in Rafah Camps with my siblings and my sisters' young children. We need help to prepare for evacuation as soon as it is possible.

Before the genocide I was studying Android software development at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza.

I grew up in the Gaza where I lived with my family and my 5 siblings. Our community in the Gaza strip has been utterly decimated. Our home and all of our belongings were destroyed leaving us only with the clothes on our backs.

My university, which was established in 1998, was turned to rubble. In fact, Israel systematically destroyed every university in the Gaza Strip in stages over the course of the more than 100-day attack. There is no longer any educational institution left in Gaza.

My family and I fled to refuge in the Rafah tent camps along the Egyptian border. I am in a community with 30 families. Sometimes we do not eat for 3 days. It's hard to hear the little children cry from hunger. We must purchase the "donated" food which has 10x inflated prices and access to funds has been nearly impossible under such dire circumstances. Even charities are trying to gouge what little refugees have left.

There is lack of clean water, basic necessities, medicine or health care. Now epidemics and illness are a constant and deadly threat to refugees. It is cold and not every family has blankets and shelter. Children have died from exposure to freezing temperatures.

As you might imagine, it is very difficult to remain optimistic about a future. We are exhausted, heartbroken and often are left with out hope. We haven't even had the opportunity to grieve our loved ones martyred by the bombs and gun fire.

However, I refuse to give up. I'm going to keep fighting for my family to survive the genocide. I want to continue my education and support my family rebuilding a new life after surviving this horrific experience. Now we have nothing and we desperately need your help.

With the help of my American friends Jennifer and Laney, I am seeking donations to get my family to safety, resume my studies and rebuild my life.

My family urgently needs to escape this nightmare soon and make our way to a safer life in Egypt or anywhere in the world. The dream would be to some day return to our beautiful homeland. But because of the constant bombardment, it has been reduced to only rubble, a graveyard for those who have perished during the genocide.

When we are finally able to cross ar the Egyptian Rafah border, it will require substantial amount of money to ensure my family's safety. It is a dangerous trip but the only option to survive is to flee to Egypt where we have family and can request political asylum. We will need funds in creating a new home.

Right now we urgently need help to secure food, water, medicine and shelter. Our entire community in the Rafah camps is freezing, starving and falling ill.

Palestinians are resilient people and those who survive will rebuild their lives but all of us will need help.
