Help young N. Berkeley carjacking victim
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Shoana and I am fundraising for my young neighbor in North Berkeley who was violently carjacked outside his home on the evening of Wed, Sept 20. He was finishing loading ALL of his belongings into his older car to take to UC San Diego for his sophomore year when a group of masked individuals pulled up in a vehicle and punched him several times before taking off with his car. Fortunately, apart from a fat lip, he is physically OK. But he and his mother, who ran out when she heard her son yelling, were traumatized. And he lost EVERYTHING he owned: his clothes and shoes, his computer, his books, housewares, and his dear trombone. Any amount you can contribute to help this kind, intelligent and musically-accomplished young man replace his belongings would be very appreciated.
And please share this opportunity with others you know. There is not much we can do as individuals to fight the rising crime in Berkeley, but we can act together to support innocent victims. Thank you!
