Help Younique through hardship and a new diagnosis

Hello, my name is Younique (pronounced unique). Recently in the month of July I was diagnosed with CML, or chronic myeloid leukemia and lost the ability to walk without assistance. I injured my leg and didn’t know it was hemorrhaging internally. Brushing the injury off for almost a week—the unbearable pain caused me to go to my local hospital in Champaign IL. After bloodwork was done an emergency transfer to the University of Chicago hospital was required where I was then diagnosed with leukemia. With my leg injury the internal hemorrhaging was stopped, but a hematoma is sitting against a nerve in my leg. Causing the front of my leg to go numb and a loss in mobility. Months of physical therapy is needed to regain full mobility of my leg again. The funds being asked for donation will be used towards continued care and the paying of any outstanding bills that have collected in my name while in the hospital. This is all so new and scary to me. My entire life has changed in under a week and before all of this…I was enrolled in school pursuing a degree in environmental sciences—living vibrantly with friends and family. Any financial assistance offered would be greatly appreciated by myself and my family.
