Help Younis Evacuate Gaza to Start University
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Younis, from Gaza. It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing the description for my donation link today. For a little bit of context, I am an 18 year old Gazan, from Khan Younes. I have survived the 5 wars on Gaza and after a lot of hard work, I have graduated from high school this past summer with an average of 96%. I have always wanted to become an engineer, help finding solutions to some of the malfunctions I used to live through my regular basis. Despite the blockade, Gaza is the most beautiful place on Earth and definitely the most inspiring. Becoming an engineer for me is a way to honor and thank Gaza, and eventually help make it a better place. I love this place so much, beyond words.
My plan initially was to study German for a year in a center near my home, then travel to Germany to study Engineering. I was already a couple of months into learning German when the war broke out. Now, the center is gone, the street is gone, the whole city is gone. Seeing Gaza being annihilated by the occupation, completely leveled to the ground broke all of us. I want to be a part of the solution. I want to rebuild Gaza, bring it back.
This is why I am reaching out to any free person in this world, humbly asking for support to evacuate to Egypt, and enter university, so I can bring back this old dream of mine.
The fundraiser will help with:
• Passports and Documentation:
o Fees for necessary travel documents and paperwork required for relocation.
• Travel Expenses:
o Coordination fees to enter Egypt
• Temporary Accommodation:
o Costs associated with securing a safe and stable place for myself during the transitional period.
• Cost related to the German Learning Center in Cairo
Your support means the world to us, no matter the size of it.
Thank you,
Younis.
