There will be an 8 to 12 week recovery time ! C6 C7 cervical spine fusion.... please note that Kathy has health insurance ! This fundraiser is to just help her get thru her monthly bills so she can keep her business and home afloat!!!

Hi this is Amy, Kathy's business partner!

As many of you know, Kathy started Kathy's Ruff Cuts in 2015 to offer grooming on a more personal level for dogs of old age, with stress and anxiety as well as disabilities. This also includes donating her time to local rescues.

Since this little venture started she has taken on over 600 customers with dogs of all ages, sizes and many with disabilities. Her time is now 100% devoted to their well being and making sure they are groomed with love and compassion. We can all agree Kathy has become a favored groomer as well as an asset to your fur babies and the community.

This past year hasn't been an easy one for her, yet she has continued to do the best she can to take care of all our furry babies.

Now I am asking for help from all of you, to give a little back to her. Kathy suffered severe head trauma in 2010 when a bimini top on her boat broke, slammed her in the head and has been fighting the damage it caused for the last 11 years. Unfortunately, it has now come time where she needs to have major surgery to correct her cervical spine C4-C7. Most of you do not know that she has been suffering with chronic pain, weakness, loss of reflexes and numbness on her right side. This extends from her neck, shoulder and down her right arm (the magic scissor hand). If Kathy does not have this surgery she could become paralyzed.

Please consider a donation to help her stay afloat as she will be unable to take on her full workload for approximately 8-12 weeks. Our hope is Kathy will only be out fully the first 10-14 days, at which point I will be taking as many dogs as possible, and keeping appointments to help her stay open.
