Help Yousra Overcome Leukemia & Hepatomegaly

Peace be upon you. My name is Yousra from Ezza. I am 60 years old. I have five daughters and five sons. I have been suffering for 10 years from several diseases, including leukemia, a tumor in the adrenal gland, and an enlarged liver.

Over a long period of time, I visited many doctors in the Gaza Strip. Due to the weakness and inability of the health system in the Strip, my condition was misdiagnosed several times, and I was given inappropriate medications that almost cost me my life. I had a stroke, which weakened the left limbs of my body. My condition deteriorated, until my arteries turned black, and my body turned blue.

The doctors in Gaza were unable to find a way to treat me, so I was transferred to the hospitals of the West Bank. Unfortunately, I was not accompanied on the treatment trip, because my children are under forty. My husband was also unable to join me. He is a sick man who cannot leave the house, and suffers from a colostomy; he cannot depend on himself in the affairs of his life.

I left the Strip alone, leaving my home and my sick husband, hoping that God would write me a cure. After arriving, I was shocked to discover that my treatment is not available for free, and must be purchased at my own expense, under the supervision of doctors. My sons took care of sending me the cost of the treatment despite the difficulty of their financial circumstances, as each has his own family and expenses.

After October 7, the situation worsened, as the war destroyed property. My children have lost their jobs and their homes. They cannot communicate with me continuously - they cannot even feed their children - and here I am, suffering alone.

I cannot return to my home, and I feel sorry for my family because of the war and killing, which causes psychological problems for me. My condition has worsened. I have no money, no medicine, and no friends around me. My health is very bad. I suffer from hunger, illness, and separation from loved ones and loss, and I fear death, far from my family.

I am in dire need of your help to buy my medicine, pay for my treatment, and fulfill my basic needs. I have found no way but yours to help me. I offer you the simplest thing you can do for me, as it is great and appreciated. From the depths of my aching heart, I thank you.
