Help YumYums get back to serving the community

For anyone who lives in the shire or has visited New Brighton you would have been to YumYums for a coffee, meal, or woodfired pizzas. This family owned & community run cafe is more then just a place for a morning coffee, it’s a place where locals & visitors go most days to chat & feel apart of a community. Mums meet with little ones, people come to do business, friends stop by post surfs, dogs come to hang after a walk on the beach & our working collective come for their morning brew to start their days with a smile. The 1-100 year flood has now hit our humble cafe twice in 5 years causing a huge amount of damage again. Loss of commercial fridges, freezers, kitchen equipment, the cafe fit out, pizza oven, ruining a lot of stock & leaving flood debris, mould behind to clean up. We are trying to get it back & running it has been a mammoth effort to clean the mess & will be a ongoing task to rebuild. Ash, Rhe & the Yumyum team have put their heart & soul into making this a safe happy place over the years & want to continue to offer that so If you’ve been touched by our Yumyumdays then please help us with whatever you can .
