A video went viral this weekend of a Calgary man riding a scooter in winter conditions on a major highway.
We found out that this man, much like many of us, is having a tough time supporting his family, and as a result has to drive his scooter everywhere, even in harsh winter conditions. This man lives in NE Calgary, is trying to support his parents and his nieces, and cannot afford a reliable vehicle or insurance.
So Calgary, it's time to once again show why our city has the biggest heart, and help us help him get to and from work and his daily activities in a safe and reliable vehicle.
It doesn't look like the snow or cold temperatures will be going away anytime soon, so the sooner we reach our goal, the quicker we can help.
