Zacs road to recovery

On Saturday 11th December, Zac Wells, was involved in a serious work accident. Zac's injuries were so extensive he needed to be careflighted to the RBWH in Brisbane where he spent a week in an induced coma in ICU.

Zac has endured 7 surgeries and over 30 hours to repair more than 20 fractures and to perform a dozen skin grafts for the burns he suffered.

Zac is very lucky to be alive. We are so proud of Zac for the strength and resilience he has shown through the past 6 weeks and now he faces a very lengthy rehabilitation in Brisbane to learn how to walk again.

Zac is a 35 year old born and bred Toowoomba man. He is married to Heidi. They both have a love of Harley's and are involved and loved by their "bike" community. Zac is a St Mary's College 'Old Boy' and is respected highly by all that know him.

Heidi is self employed and operates her own salon solely. Which is currently closed so that she can concentrate on Zac's needs and be with him in Brisbane. And as we know bills don't STOP! I am hoping this gofundme can take some financial stress off them both so they will be able to be together and support each other at this very difficult time.
