Help Zach Recover After Stroke

Donation protected
On Thursday, December 16th, 2021, Zach was visiting the doctor for a routine visit after experiencing a headache for over a week. On arriving at the doctor's, it was clear that he was disoriented and needed to be driven by ambulance to the hospital. Upon further testing, the doctors had confirmed that Zach had a stroke and should be flown by helicopter to a hospital that specialized and is better equipped to care for stroke patients.

Thursday into Friday, his condition began to worsen to the point where he was unable to speak or move his right side. His MRI showed that he had more blood clots than seen on a previous CT scan and his doctor made the decision to perform surgery in an attempt to remove as many blood clots as possible. Thankfully, the surgery went well and they were able to remove bits and pieces of the blood clots to gain better blood flow. However, Zach is still in the ICU with a long recovery/rehab ahead of him.

Having just celebrated Zach's 30th birthday in October, this stoke came as a huge shock. Anyone who knows Zach knows how selfless and caring he is. With the toll that something like this takes on someone physically, emotionally, and financially, we are asking his friends and family to help in any way that they can to aid him in this recovery.

We will continue to update you all on Zach's condition as we know more.

Thank you for all of the love, support, prayers, and well wishes.
