Help Zach Ruck Leukemia

Zach was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in May of 2016. Treatment included chemotherapy, into his veins and into his spine, bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and many, many transfusions. He reached remission and remained there while continuing chemotherapy until a relapse last May. He graduated from UMF and even received his diploma from the president of the college, who presented it to him at Maine Medical Center while he was undergoing intense chemo. He, once again, reached remission with stronger treatment than previously. This course was harder on him physically, but he and Em remained stoic and determined. He reached maintenance and was on IV and intrathecal chemo until his second relapse was discovered last week. It is unknown what path treatment will take or what options he has. What is known is that, once again, he will be undergoing some pretty intense treatment.
