Help Zahra Fund Her Scholarship for Students

I founded the Odyssey Scholarship Program in 2020 with the goal of awarding scholarships to students from underrepresented communities in South Florida to explore the infinite pathways to a career in space! At Odyssey, we collaborate with schools and universities around the world to host virtual STEM workshops (1500+ students from 15 countries so far!) and in-person events in South Florida.

 We are so excited to bring back our in-person program with our 2nd cohort of students this year!

Our first cohort of students was a huge success! Our Odyssey scholars conducted science and engineering experiments, built + launched rockets, and attended a live workshop with an astronaut. They finished the program with a group Fidel’s trip to the Kennedy Space Center, where they met NASA scientists and engineers and learned about the infinite pathways to pursue STEM.   

My first trip to the Kennedy Space Center at the age of 5 ignited my passions in space and inspired me to relentlessly pursue my dream of becoming a doctor, astrobiologist, and astronaut. Because of that first exposure, I was motivated to begin my career early on, becoming the youngest analog astronaut and a science communicator for young boys and girls across the world. Through my scholarship program, I aspire to relive my first trip to the space center by offering other young students like me the opportunity to witness first-hand the impact of space exploration on our everyday lives and exposing them to the endless possibilities for them to achieve their ambitions!

The key to igniting a child’s dream is opportunity and exposure; through my scholarship, I will prove to these kids that age has no factor in the depths of success they can achieve. I appreciate any contributions to supporting my scholarship program!♥️
