Help Zane Overcome Severe Eczema

*UPDATE*
Hi Arlene here,
I wanted to give some background and just be 100% real with you guys. I shared a reel about what eczema has looked like for us with our youngest baby. It’s been a HARD road. I had heard the word eczema thrown around plenty but never dreamed how truly horrific it could be. I wanted to connect with others in similar stages and provide awareness. I was blown away by the stories, hope, prayers and encouragement. After the video our amazing friend Amanda who has her own daughter who’s been through a similar journey and has found a lot of help and healing through a special eczema program texted me and said “Arlene I’m setting you up a go fund me.” I immediately cried because who are we to get help when there’s so many others fighting greater battles. Our family is self pay like a lot of other self employed families. This has always been something we have been able to manage, thank God. However this past year with the drastic change in the economy mixed in with the insane amount of medical care he’s required we have exhausted everything we have. Such a humbling experience and truly living relying on our God to provide. If you’ve visited our shop you first hand know the love and detail we pour into it. Recently though we’ve been unable to properly stock our shop as we’ve had to use all funds towards covering other expenses. This obviously has further decreased the already slow sales. We are unsure of what the future holds but are learning to lean more into our God. Close friends know Javier has started to work some out of town in attempts to bring some balance but it’s been tough. We’ve tried tons to try and help our baby and realize there’s a ton more we’ve yet to try. However due to financial strains we just can’t continue to explore new options. Example: Dermatology urged we consider a medicine for him that being self pay would run us near 10k. For obvious reasons that’s just not possible. The program our amazing friends daughter is in also comes with a hefty price tag. I have made the choice to go gluten + dairy free in my diet for some time now as well as his since he is Brest fed and that alone has significantly raised our grocery bill. If you are still here thank you! I hate accepting help and even more asking for it. However, I’ve decided if people are able and want to help I should be open to it. If you are on a similar journey please know you’re not alone. We can cling to God’s goodness together. If you have prayed and the lord has moved you to provide for our family. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. As mommas you know we will move mountains to help our little ones. Right now the lord has made it abundantly clear that this mountain could be pride and allowing others in may be needed.

My name is Amanda. I’ve had the honor of knowing Arlene and her family for years. They are the proud owners of Green Dazzle Baby here in Lubbock. Their sweet 10 month old boy, Zane, started showing signs of eczema soon after he was born. Arlene & Javier have spent numerous hours and endless nights in urgent cares, Dr.’s offices, pharmacy lines, allergists, etc. Zane’s skin is often so severely inflamed and broken that his bedsheets are covered in blood. He has not been able to enjoy his young little life because of this debilitating condition. It’s not discussed much, but severe Eczema is traumatic and heartbreaking to experience, especially when it’s a helpless infant. There is a clinic in North Carolina that has healed our own daughter’s condition by 90% improvement. The program costs a little over $4,000 and supplements a couple hundred to get started. They will also have to completely overhaul their diet & that means purchasing organic gluten and dairy free groceries. I’ve set a goal for $5,000 to get them on this program & started on the road to relief and hopefully long term healing. Please pray about making a donation.
