Help Zara Say Goodbye to Her Beloved Brooklyn

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to help my dear friend Zara during an incredibly difficult time. Zara’s beautiful dog, Brooklyn, who is only 6 years old, has been diagnosed with lymphoma, and the prognosis is heartbreaking—Brooklyn may not make it past the New Year.

Zara has just returned from an overseas immersion program in Cambodia as part of her Bachelor of Nursing degree at Monash University. She’s spent the last 3 weeks away, focused on learning and helping others, only to come home to this devastating news. With limited work during that time, the sudden costs of vet bills, cremation arrangements, and possibly a photographer to capture some lasting memories of Brooklyn have become an overwhelming burden.

Zara is the type of person who is always helping others—whether it’s through her nursing or simply being the friend everyone can count on. Now it’s our turn to give back.

I know it’s Christmas time and everyone has their own expenses, but even a small donation would make a world of difference. The funds raised will go towards:

• Vet bills for Brooklyn’s care in her final weeks

• Cremation and memorial arrangements

• A professional photographer to create lasting memories of Brooklyn
