Help Zaria Taylor get to Paris

If we have never met, whether it be through my very sociable father or even my independent mother, I would like to reintroduce myself. My name is Zaria Taylor, a passionate, outgoing, logical thinking, and independent young African American girl. Not only am I a Junior honor roll student at Renissance High School, but I am also a Cranbrook Horizon Upward Bound student on the weekends and a former junior caddy at Oakland Hills Country Club. Past experiences have helped me develop a strong passion for fashion and design, which has driven me to pursue my studies in the world capital of fashion, Paris, France.
  
I have been accepted to the CIEE study abroad program to study Parisian culture but also fashion and design. My trip to Paris is not just about fulfilling a personal dream. Studying in Paris will expose me to diverse perspectives, allow me to build new skills, and help me expand my network of contacts. Moreover, studying abroad can help me develop a sense of independence and resilience, which are valuable qualities that will serve me well throughout my life.
