Help Zayn Beat Cancer: Join Our Journey

As some of you may know, on November 9th we got the terrible news that our sweet baby boy, Zayn (6), was diagnosed with cancer, specifically leukemia. We are absolutely devastated because we have already been through this once, with our baby girl, thankfully she’s in a five year remission. We can’t believe once we finally put this behind us we are here again. We are hoping and praying it’ll be the same for Zayn. We are currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment which initially starts in the hospital for approximately 2-4 weeks during the initial phase of treatment Zayn will undergo bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures with chemotherapy and a couple rounds of iv chemotherapy. The entire treatment is projected to last two years with rounds of chemotherapy multiple times a week at the beginning stages to once a week for the duration until the two years is up and also there will be more than a dozen lumbar punctures that include chemotherapy. We are a family of 4 and for the time being we are separated, trying our best to navigate keeping our daughter happy at home and giving our son everything he needs. We have difficult long road ahead of us .
