Help Zbiggy get the care he needs!

Hi, my name is Katie. I'm a 26-year-old disabled part-time student from the North Shore area, and this is my senior cat, Zbiggy. I've had him since I was a little girl and he was a kitten, and he is my absolute best friend. As time would have it though, aging has unfortunately been hard on him. As of recent, he's shown various signs of discomfort and potentially asthma as well. Today, I am sitting in the emergency vet's office, and have been quoted easily well over $1600 for the diagnostic care he needs. I am using a large portion of my savings in order to cover his medical care. I will do anything to save him. However, as a disabled part-time student who only works part-time as well, this is a huge expense for me. Therefore any funds donated to this will be going directly toward his vet expenses. If any of you are so generously able to help us, it would be so appreciated. Even just sharing our story.

update: zbiggy has now seen our primary care vet as well as a specialist (cardiologist) he has been officially diagnosed with late stage heart failure. His recent visit was $1500, in addition to his last visit being $1600 he has now accumulated over 3k in bills. I have attached the receipts and information below including his diagnoses. I’m beyond heartbroken. I never imagined this would happen not to me, but now I’m living my nightmare. My sweet boy is fading fast.
