Help Zee's Soul Street Cafe Reopen

Hello everyone,

We are Zee’s Soul Street Cafe… for those who know us, know that we spend the majority of our time making good food and showing great customer service….

We opened our doors to Soul Street on March 13th this year and since day one, we’ve experienced every thing you can imagine as a new restaurant!!!

Recently, we started having problems with our walk in cooler and called for a service call to the company which holds the warranty to said cooler!

They put us on the schedule and route to send someone but later took us off because they said the warranty wasn’t active until the director checked this morning and said that it actually was!!! But it was too late!

We purchased a food truck full of inventory

which was delivered on Friday, May 24!!! While we were closed over the Memorial Day Holiday, the coolers went out and caused them to overheat which destroyed all the food we stored in the coolers!

On today 5/28/2024, we had to dispose of over 3000.00 worth of product that we need to open and run this week!

From cases of chicken and ground beef, to pork chops and fish we lost a lot!!! From sandwich lettuce and dressings, to collard greens and cheese!!!!

Unfortunately we aren’t a million dollar company nor a restaurant with thousands of dollars in the bank…. We are a new locally owned restaurant, owned by 2 God fearing, people loving preachers who just wanted to build a family legacy by giving Alabama the best of Zee….

Every dime in our account was paid out on bills and payroll this morning and without opening, we can’t make funds to keep this restaurant going!!!!

we need your help… our bank said we’re too new to get any help…. Loan companies said we won’t qualify until after our 4th month, we could get approved for any credit cards, or business line of credit because we’re too new….

all we have is hope and trust in God!!!

Will you help us reopen, so that we can continue to be a blessing to those we’ve been called to serve!!!
