Help Zelia Fight Hodgkins Lymphoma

My name is Zelia Castello, a 28 year old mother of one from Trinidad. I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in January 2021, which is a cancer of the blood and lymph nodes. Since then, I’ve undergone numerous sessions of chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately, in April 2022 a PET CT Scan showed that the cancer had spread to the bones. Since then I had done many fundraisers and members of the public made financial contributions to me in aid of medical treatment for a bone marrow transplant in India. In October of last year (2022) I left for India and has since undergone chemotherapy which sent me into remission and a bone marrow transplant in December which was a success. I was of the opinion that I would've been returning home the second week in January, only to be told that I wouldn't be able to leave unless I purchase 16 cycles of the said chemo that was used to send me into remission, mainly because it is not available in Trinidad. On returning home, I was told by my doctor that they tried getting the chemo drugs but it was unsuccessful. I reached out to a friend in the U.S explaining my situation and she was able to get one of her friend, who is an Oncology doctor, to assisted me. The doctor was able to get me on a programme whereas I was granted the opportunity to continue my treatment in the U.S. On April 8th, 2023 after two months of being very worried about my situation and health, I was finally able to leave for the U.S. Since then I have been receiving my treatment on time and I even had a port put in to make it easier. I have since been faced with more medical expenses as I don't have insurance over in the U.S. which makes it very hard for me when I need to seek medical attention, do blood works and even do procedures like getting my port.
