Help Zero and Lilith Escape Unsafe Living Conditions

Urgent Call For Help:

Hello. My name is Zero.

I am an Autistic, Black, Agender c-PTSD survivor,

and I’m reaching out because I urgently need help

and support as I navigate a complex and unsafe living

situation that requires immediate attention.

I am currently living in an apartment that may

have significant mold or water damage. Unfortunately,

my property manager and the housing authority have not

been responsive to my concerns.

Despite multiple attempts to request repairs,

my claims have been dismissed, and the conditions

negatively affect Lilith’s (my cat) and my health.

The state of my bathroom is particularly concerning,

and I’m unsure whether the problem is in the vents of my

AC unit or confined within the walls of my apartment.

Regardless, I feel physically ill when I’m home compared

to when I’m outside, and it’s become increasingly unsafe

for both myself and my cat, Lilith.

Health Concerns:

Both Lilith and I have been experiencing a range of symptoms that I believe are connected to the apartment’s condition:

My Symptoms:

Severe congestion and trouble breathing

Itchy skin

Brain fog and severe fatigue

Joint pain and occasional dizziness (tremors)

Constant migraines

Recurring fungal/sinus infections

Candida build-up

Insomnia, trouble staying asleep

Lilith’s Symptoms:

Excessive itching and over-grooming

Yeasty ears and discomfort (constant headshakes)

Difficulty getting comfortable, constant shifting

Congestion and labored breathing/wheezing

Flaky/dry skin

Irritable and low-energy

At this point, the only way to heal is to leave this environment, leave everything behind, and start fresh because you can take mold with you in a new space. It’s the only way for both of us

to recover physically. Unfortunately, I do not have family support, and I am managing this entirely on my own.

How You Can Help:

Immediate Funds Needed: $1000 (For Deposit / Hold Fee / Application Fees and Moving Costs)

Funds Needed After Approval and Succesful Move-In: $2000 (Mattress and Basic Necessities, New Cat Appliances and Necessities for Lilith)

Total Funds Needed: $3000

I’m asking for assistance with this transition. Moving out of an unsafe living space is expensive, and I struggle to manage the costs. Any financial support or help finding moving resources would make a huge difference. I sincerely appreciate any help you can offer me and Lilith.
