Help Zeus win parvovirus
Donation protected
Hello, I’m really sorry to have to write all of this, but I would be truly grateful if you could help.
My girlfriend and I adopted Zeus almost a month ago, but over the last two days, he has been vomiting frequently and has diarrhea. I took him to the nearest vet, and they told me that little Zeus has parvovirus. If you, like me, are not familiar with this disease, parvovirus is an extremely contagious and potentially fatal gastrointestinal illness. I don’t need to tell you that we’re both desperate for our puppy to get better, but we’ve been having a very tough year. My girlfriend lost our baby, fell into deep depression, and stopped working. As a result, I’ve spent most of my money on medication and therapy, and now I don't have enough to cover Zeus's veterinary expenses. These expenses go beyond his hospitalization, as he also needs medication. I know that the survival rate is about 90% if the treatment is started as soon as possible. Zeus is hardly eating anything and seems to be losing weight.
I love this dog so much, even though we’ve been together for such a short time, and my girlfriend is devastated. I don’t know if she could handle another loss.
So, I humbly ask, if you are able to, please help us, even with small amounts. The vet bill is $400 and may increase as the treatment also involves antibiotics and a special diet. In the meantime, I am working extra hours to raise more money.
Thank you so much for reading this.
Thank you very much!
