Help Zhora Pursue her Dance Dreams!

About Zhora...

Zhora is a middle school student who dances at The Next Jennaration in Lansing, NY (also known as TNJ). She began her training in 2014 and has been dancing for 9 years. She is dedicated to her practice, dancing for 15+ hours a week. Zhora has studied and competed in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Ballet. She loves the energy in Contemporary, the grace and strength of Ballet, and the emotion and movement in Lyrical.

Zhora has performed at competitions regionally and nationally including Starpower, Imagine, Believe, Edge, Beyond The Stars, and the World Dance Championship. She has earned numerous awards as a soloist, including Champion and Title runner-up at Starpower, Niagra Falls in 2021. With her team, she has earned many National and World Champion Titles.

This year she is looking forward to starting en pointe and working as a teaching assistant at the studio. 

When not dancing she enjoys spending time with her cats and listening to music. Zhora would like to thank her teachers, teammates, and parents who encourage, push, and support her.

Zhora's Dance Dreams...

Zhora is hoping to participate in a very full dance season this year, including opportunities to perform a solo, her first duet, and numerous group numbers at regional, national, and world championship competitions. These competitions will take her to NY, PA, NJ, and MD starting in March of 2023.

I am constantly amazed at Zhora's passion for and dedication to her dance practice. It is a joy to watch her perform and to witness how far her training has taken her.

There is no getting around the fact that this kind of training and travel is expensive. We have been privileged enough to be able to support this for Zhora since she was 4 years old. However, in 2021, I was in a car accident (hit by a drunk driver) that dramatically changed my farm business and the income from it that helped support dance expenses. I have created this fundraiser so that family and friends who love Z and want to support her can help keep her on pace to achieve her dreams.

All funds raised will go directly to covering tuition, competition registrations, and travel costs for Zhora.
