Help Zion compete in the 2022 Australian Skateboarding Championship

Dear friends and family,

Our beautiful boy Zion was born in Australia in 2012 and started skateboarding at the young age of 5. We worked tirelessly every day and tried every possible avenue to stay and continue our lives in Australia, but despite our best efforts this did not work out for us. So when Zion was 7 years old we sadly had no other option but to leave our friends and our life in Melbourne to go back to Brasil to live.

However, Zion still continued with his passion and talent for skateboarding. His focus and dedication has now seen him successfully compete and win in many Championships, even against kids up to twice his age.

His achievements have now recently won Zion an invitation to compete in the 2022 Australian Skateboarding League Street Championships in Melbourne this March. He is so excited to receive an invitation to compete in the city where he was born. But unfortunately this won’t be possible unless we are able to gather enough funds to be able to support his travel costs to and from Melbourne. This has prompted us to reach out to anyone who might be able to assist to help Zion realise his dream to go and compete in this Championship at his first home, Australia. Any support would be hugely appreciated!!
