Help Zion Montes Clean Up Six Mile Run Trails
Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Zion Montes of Troop 489 of Hillsborough NJ, and I am creating a GoFundMe to support my Eagle Scout Project, the Cedar/Creek Trail conservation and rehabilitation project at Six Mile Run Reservoir Site in Somerset, NJ.
This project idea began actually eight years ago, when I had been a Cub Scout, and we had hiked the Six Mile Run Reservoir Site/State Park White and Red Trails. I couldn't help but notice all the unsightly waste very close to and bordering the trails. Fast forward eight years, I went back to the same trails and was surprised to see the trash, which includes mattresses, a stove, tires, and more, was still there!
My project is to remove all the waste to a dumpster to provide for the reforestation and conservation of the Cedar/Creek Trails (Red and White Trails) at the Six Mile Run Reservoir Site. You can help support me and my project through a donation or by coming out and helping with the cleanup on one of the days of my project.
Here is the detailed information about my project taking place on 11/30 and 12/1:
I am happy to answer any questions you might have and hope you will volunteer to help me conserve this extraordinary place.
